Happy Birthday to Me!

One balmy night in June, I hear my web sale notification ring! It's always fun to hear it go off, especially since it was right around my birthday! I confess that I did then, and still do giggle as I run off to go check my latest sales. They are just as much a treat for me as they are for you!

I was very interested to see this particular sale was an order for one of my favorite original paintings. "Sublime" has been with me for 5 years and has even held its proud place at my Arts Night Out exhibit in Northampton last year. (see The Sunny Choice exhibit).

Finding out that the new owner-to-be was an accomplished artist and business acquaintance who had gone searching for me online was an immense compliment!

I was a little wistful, and yet so honored as I lovingly packed up "Sublime" to go to its new home. I truly am touched when a piece of art I created speaks to someone else so clearly that they need it for their own.
