Sometimes it's only the contrasts in life that remind us that we still know how to feel. How sweet is the taste of joy after the bitterness of sorrow? How rich do we feel after having gone without? To exist in this world we have create, we try our best to blockade our vulnerabilities, denying that life's ups and downs have rocked our cores. but maybe one day, we'll stand triumphant, relishing the fact that we no longer fear life in contrast.
