Like love, It's hard to trust the spring, Smiling sweetly, Beckoning I must say I've been fooled before My skin left unprotected And in the sudden shifting winds, I was frozen and rejected But wearing too much blocks the touch Of Love's caressing breath Summer's promise is on Spring's lips But it's not quite here just yet. In the meantime, still I realize I just have to take that chance Spring's sun is irresistible, Love's breeze is like a dance.
