Hello viewers, come sail with me in this season's Photo Journey, Sailing Along. My Photo Journey series is designed to remind us to pause and appreciate even the simplest moments of our amazing existence! I hope you'll discover that growing and cultivating this mindset of gratitude helps mitigate your daily stressors.
So, after a particularly tumultuous year (and that's saying something post-2020!), I took my family on a quick little jaunt to the coast. Milestones reached and duties paused, it was time to nourish our spirits before continuing on. I was particularly looking forward to this excursion--whenever vast skies meet sparkling waters, there's bound to be a feeling of awe and replenishment. What a wonderful environment to soak up!
The forecast had been uncertain, but the seascape nevertheless was breathtaking! There is a reason so many songs and narratives have the sea written into their rhymes. Remarkably, it seemed to illustrate our personal journeys in uncanny metaphor-- from braving the foggy remnants of recent storms, to celebrating the jubilant dance of sunshine on chipper waves. Our traverse was truly as dynamic as it was beautiful.
