Reality

Sometimes a grasp on reality is just the thing that bogs us practical artisans down. Interestingly enough, some of the great entrepreneurs I have seen have no concept of the thing. Either that, or they have decided to write their own reality, in which they are the ruler of Fantasyland, with their own set of laws that defy nature, and wild dreams come true...
But then guess what? They do! Are you taking notes? I am. July, 2016.

Respect Your Art!
Ten years ago, I ran across an animation program that I couldn't wait to try. I had barely enough space on my hard drive and almost zero RAM, but I was eager to gobble up any art skill I could. I was so proud when I first made Gabby here, but like so much of my art from that time, she got shuffled away into yesterday's data files.
See, I thought it silly to indulge in these artistic pursuits. I wondered what the point was. I didn't have the time, and couldn't imagine who would even care about what I created.
Fast forward to the Eve of 2016, as I look over past accomplishments and plan fresh new goals to further grow my brand. Imagine the pride I feel that I stopped ignoring the incessant call to create, that I've cobbled every stolen minute and hour into building a strong foundation. I am honored to have created for many, and look forward to sharing with many more.
It's the wee hours again, but I am happy to see an old, familiar face. Gabby has popped up to remind me to respect my passions, my talents, my art...for a year from now...or maybe ten, I will be glad that I kept pushing on today.
...blue skies ahead!
